I Bid On 3 Horses At This Auction!!! Are We Bringing A New Horse Home?
The excitement of a horse auction is like no other. The anticipation, the quick decision-making, and the thrill of bidding all create an atmosphere charged with energy. This time, I set my sights on three incredible horses, hoping at least one might be the perfect addition to our stable.
Walking through the auction grounds, I carefully assessed each horse—watching their movement, temperament, and overall condition. After making my list, I felt confident in my choices. The real challenge, however, was winning the bid.
The first horse was a stunning bay gelding with a calm demeanor. As bidding started, I jumped in early, but the competition was fierce. Within seconds, the price soared past my budget. Reluctantly, I let him go, knowing there were still two more chances.
Next up was a beautiful dapple gray mare. I raised my paddle and held my ground, pushing past a few competing bidders. My heart raced with every new number called. Just as I thought I had her, another bidder swooped in at the last second. Disappointed but determined, I prepared for my final attempt.
The last horse—a striking chestnut with expressive eyes—was my favorite. When bidding opened, I went all in, confidently placing my bid. The auctioneer called for higher offers, but this time, luck was on my side. Sold!
